

Hello I'd like to introduce myself...my name is Ali Henry, & my story begins when I was in my late 20's.After many years of yo-yo dieting I finally went on my last diet, my single goal was to loose weight for my sister's wedding. But I gained so much more because this time the difference for me was maintaining an exercise regiment and as well I started to strength train at a local gym. I had lost over 30lbs...the results made an impact on me & as well I started to build muscle. Shortly after I made that life altering decision to break the cycle & become healthy & put a stop to my bad behaviors dedicated my life to health & physical education. The following spring I toke a huge leap of faith & quiet my bank job of almost 9 years and made the decision to go to college as a non-tradition student at the age of 31& enrolled as a freshman that fall.
After successfully completing my studies in 2006 graduated Cum Laude from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health & Physical Education, specializing in Exercise Science. Needless to say it has been a long & enduring journey over the past 16 years but now cardio exercise, strength training and eating healthy are my passions as well as a way of life. My life has certainly been an interesting journey over the years & has taken me down many paths with a lot of twists and turns but more than anything it's given me numerous life experiences & showed me the power of my own strength & fortitude. I've trained at numerous fitness establishments as well as operated my own personal training business with success. The one thing that keeps me inspired as a trainer, is having the power to motivate others & getting people energized about fitness and helping them adopt a healthier lifestyle. After all prevention is the key to a long and vibrant life! And the greatest of all gifts is health.
